VIPdesk Merges with International SOS

“Combined Operations of VIPdesk and International SOS bring to Market First Truly Integrated Global Concierge and Customer Service Delivery Platform.”

VIPdesk announced some very exciting news this morning: we have merged with International SOS, the world’s leading integrated medical and security assistance and concierge services company.  The combined operations will bring to market the first truly integrated global concierge and customer service delivery platform—meaning that we will both be able to better serve our clients on an international level, and grow our business globally.

The joint resources of International SOS and VIPdesk will lead the industry in size, scope and combined capabilities—the team will consist of over 1,200 professionals including a virtual network of concierges and customer care specialists, and 14 global service delivery centers worldwide servicing over 1,000 corporate clients.

VIPdesk and International SOS’ relationship began in 2009 when the companies partnered on a global RFP.  The relationship continued to evolve, during which time we recognized the benefit of a proactive merger that would help us meet our own clients’ needs and give us much-needed international capabilities. International SOS’ global footprint in over 70 countries in conjunction with VIPdesk’s record of innovation in technology and customer care will extensively enhance the combined capabilities of the two companies, while maintaining the same client–centric focus that both are known for.

VIPdesk will continue to operate as the US based, wholly-owned subsidiary of International SOS under the leadership of its founders and management. This means that the company will function as-is, independently, but with the support, leadership, and global capabilities that only International SOS can provide.

This new partnership with International SOS provides the opportunity to globalize clients’ concierge and customer care programs, as it enhances the scope of what VIPdesk can provide. Stay tuned, as we will be rolling out a comprehensive global product and service offering in the near future.
